[1] Iasi International Airport   Airport website

    Iasi International Airport is a small airport, but there are many connections
not only to Bucharest but also to many places in Europe,
Viena (Austria), Munich (German), Luton (England), Brussels (Belguim) and so on.

  From Airport to City center
    The best way from the airport to the city center is to take a taxi.
But please note that in the airport there are no information desks. So, sometimes you have to wait.
The fair is approximately 30 Ron (nearly 7 EUR).
From the airport to your hotel in downtown you can reach within 30 minutes.

    You can use public bus service No. 50 (CTP Iasi) from "Aeroport" to "Plata Unirii" (Statia Independentei).
The bus No. 50 goes to "Gara" (Iasi station).
It stops at "Targu Cucu" before it reaches at "Plata Unirii" about 10 minutes.
You may get off at "Targu Cucu" if your hotel is near there.
You can take a tram and a bus at "Plata Unirii".
The price for a single ticket is 2.5 lei. It is valid for 120 minutes.
Tickets are available at the bus station.

From the Iasi station (Gara) to the city center, you can use trams.

[3] From City center to University     map

In order to come to the Campus from the city center,
use trams from "Plata Unirii" or "Statia Independentei" or "Targu Cucu" and get off at "Universitate".
From "Targu Cucu", the bus No. 42 and the tram No. 1 and 8 take you to the campus of Technical University ("Tudor Vladimirescu")
Please note that the conference room is in the same building as of Alexandru Ioan University of Iasi.
It is along the street of Carol I ("Bulevardul Carol I")
The main campus of Gheorghe Asachi Technical university of Iasi is not placed in the same area.
It is south-east of Palace of Culture.
